Carnivore Diet Recipes: 10 Favorites (It Includes Waffles...) (1)

Published on July 23, 2020 by Carnivore Aurelius

With these carnivore diet recipes, there’s no longer any excuse not to try the carnivore diet.

One of the most common concerns is that there’s not enough variety. People think they’ll get tired of just eating seared steak every night. But these options eliminate those concerns.

Here are my 10 favorite carnivore diet recipes when I’m looking to change things up.

#1 Carnivore Waffles

This is one of my favorites from the strong sistas.

My mind was blown when I first saw this. In fact, it really made me question whether or not magic really exists.

If I’m being totally honest, I miss eggo waffles a little bit…you’re lying if you don’t.

But it turns out that you can make waffles entirely from animal products. Here’s how:

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Salt
  • A fat: ghee, butter or tallow
  • Eggs
  • Blender and waffle maker

Recipe

  1. Add meat, eggs and salt to a blender. Blend it up until smooth. The strong sisters recommend 8oz ground beef and 6 eggs
  2. Spread batter on a waffle maker.
  3. Cook until complete

Extremely easy and tasty.

#2 Steak Tartare

Nothing makes me feel like more of a savage barbarian hunter and a king than eating steak tartare. It’s both bougie and masculine at the same time.

Here’s how I make it:

  1. Use a leaner cut of steak for this
  2. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  3. Break 2-3 eggs (I just use egg yolks). Mix with the steak in a bowl
  4. Chop steak as fine as you’d like
  5. Form it together like a steak hockey puck

#3 Crock Pot Stew (Also known as Carnivore Salad)

This is what I call carnivore salad.

One of my favorite things to do on the carnivore diet when I’m lazy is to chuck all sorts of different meats into a crock pot or slow cooker. We’re talking about everything here.

Steak, shrimp, pork, bacon…sometimes even insects I find off the street. If it’s an animal I’ll eat it….LOL

#4 Beef Liver Pate

As all of my readers know, beef liver is the ultimate food on the carnivore diet. It’s packed with the most important nutrients for your brain, immune system and metabolism. When I started eating it, I felt like the energizer bunny.

But the problem is it tastes like bloody socks…yes, not appetizing.

This beef liver pate recipe is one of my favorite ways to add it to my diet

Ingredients:

  • Beef liver
  • sea salt
  • ghee, butter or cream.
  • Optional: brandy, onions and garlic.

Recipe

Step 1: Cut beef liver into 1 inch strips

Step 2: Saute in a pan on medium-high heat until it’s almost cooked all the way through

Step 3: Transfer liver to a food processor

Step 4: Blend with cream, ghee or butter until it’s a smooth consistency. Optional: If you’re not a carnivore, feel free to add brandy, onions or garlic.

Step 5: Refrigerate and chill in mason jars

#5 Bone Broth

Bone broth is one of the most nutritious foods in the world. Bone marrow and cartilage is loaded with fat soluble nutrients like Vitamin A and DHA. Connective tissue is also very high in glycine, which is important for collagen synthesis and methylation.

Some studies have shown that glutamine, an amino acid in the gelatin, can help to heal your gut

This isn’t a meal per se, but it’s a great addition to the carnivore diet.

Ingredients

Recipe

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot or slow cooker.
  2. If in a pot, bring to a simmer
  3. Cook for 12–24 hours. The longer it cooks, the better
  4. Strain into a container

#6 Pork Rinds

Pork cracklings are one of my favorite high fat snacks on the carnivore diet. They’re also a great way to get some crunch back into your life, which I know many of you carnivores are missing.

You’re going to need to find a local butcher that can sell pork skin for this (if you’re a carnivore this shouldnt be a problem as I’m sure you have a butcher that’s your best friend already).

  1. Trim the fat off the skin
  2. Cut the skin into 1 inch blocks
  3. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet skin side up
  4. Sprinkle each piece with salt to taste
  5. Bake at 325 °F until crispy. This usually takes 1-2 hours

#7 Carnivore Sausage

This is another recipe that requires some equipment, but is well worth the effort.

All it takes is a meat grinder, which you can get for $30 or so and is definitely worth it. Or if you’re a real carnivore you can just use your teeth…

I used to love sausage, but unfortunately most of them have fillings and other toxins.

I like to combine ground beef, with bacon and egg yolks to make mine.

Here’s my recipe:

  1. Use 2:1 beef to bacon ratio
  2. Cut bacon into 1 inch slices
  3. Put into meat grinder. Combine with ground beef in a bowl
  4. Add 4 egg yolks for every 1lb of meat. Mix in bowl with sea salt
  5. Put back into the meat grinder and connect the casing to the end of it and crank it in
  6. Let the sausage come out in one long coil. Make sure to leave 6-10 inches at the end. Twist the completed sausage stick every 6 inches or so into individual sausages
  7. Cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes

#8 Organ Burgers

Here’s another of my favorite ways to sneak more organs into your life. I usually do this with a combo of heart, liver and ground beef in a 25/25/50 ratio.

Step 1: Grind the liver & heart into ¼ inch pieces.

Step 2: Combine with ground beef.

Step 3: Melt butter or ghee

Step 4: Mix everything together with the butter in a bowl. Add in sea salt. s.

Step 5: Shape into burgers

Step 6: Bake for 25 minutes at 250 degrees

Optional: Add minced bacon

#9 Brisket

Brisket is the king of braised beef. It takes the most care to cook, but like a fine wine comes out much better with time. It’s simple, but one of my favorites to change it up from cuts of steak.

Brisket is tough, but once you get through it’s outer shell it turns into the richest, most tender meat you can eat. Kind of like breaking through a tough bodybuilders exterior emotional shell…

BTW if you cook brisket, my superpower is I can smell it from anywhere in the world…so don’t be surprised to see me standing outside asking for some.

My favorite way to cook it is in a slow cooker for 12 hours in some bone broth.

#10 Bonus: Dehydrated Beef Liver Jerky

My last favorite snack is liver jerky. It’s energy packed, high in protein and actually makes liver taste good.

Step 1: Slice beef liver as thin as desired

Step 2: Sea salt both sides

Step 3: Dehydrate in a dehydrator to desired crispiness
